Teun Koopmeiners has withdrew from international service owing to an injury that may be more serious than originally feared. The Dutchman, who joined Juventus during the most recent transfer window, has been a vital member of the club and, before to this setback, was settling in slowly. It now appears doubtful that he will be ready for Juventus' next game following the international break, despite their earlier hopes.

The Bianconeri are constantly monitoring his condition when he returned from the Netherlands national team training. According to a Calciomercato article, preliminary examinations reveal that he could have had a shattered rib. To ascertain the extent of his injuries and estimate the length of time he would be out of commission, more testing will be done. Juve FC Says, Losing Koopmeiners for a long time will be a big blow for us, and we hope that will not be the case
