The future is beginning to look bright at Everton

Even if an Italian team is trying to entice an Everton player away from Goodison Park, the future of the club is starting to look bright. Finally, following a protracted period of uncertainty, the Friedkin Group is set to take over Everton in preparation for the transfer to Bramley Docks. The Toffees have had to sell some of their most valuable assets and have been running on a very tight budget for the past few years.

Aston Villa had to purchase Amadou Onana for £50 million over the summer, while Richarlison having gone for a comparable amount a few years before. Having said that, it will be fascinating to watch if the Freidkin Group is able to reject offers and eventually keep the player. Serie A powerhouse Inter Milan is now seeking to recruit an Everton player in January.
