The misery continues for Almeria

Almeria's struggle in Europe's top five leagues reached a historic low with a 2-2 draw against Sevilla, extending their winless streak to a Spanish league record of 28 games. Despite captain Adrian Embarba giving them a lead seven minutes before halftime, hopes of victory were dashed as Sevilla scored twice in the last 10 minutes through Dodi Lukébakio and Lucas Ocampos. A stoppage time equalizer by Marco Milovanović brought some consolation for the home fans, yet Almeria remains four points adrift of Granada at the bottom of La Liga, with only 10 games left and Granada holding a game in hand.

The match was described as a "bittersweet experience" by Embarba, highlighting Almeria's missed opportunities and vulnerability to counterattacks, dropping 21 points this season after taking the lead, the highest in the league.
