As it was expected after the first leg victory at Emirates Stadium, FC Barcelona hardly broke a sweat against the Gunners at Camp Nou stadium this Wednesday. Luis Enrique's boys managed to get ahead in the score sheet in the first half thanks to a Neymar quick goal that he got on the 19th minute. He got in behind the Arsenal defense and beat Ospina low to his left to put Barcelona ahead after a Luis Suarez assist. The result would stay like this until half time.
Early in the second half Arsenal would put some drama to the match after Egyptian Elneny scored a fantastic curler straight to Ter Stegen's top corner and gave the Gunners a little bit of hope. They even took control of the match for a small period of time, centre back Javier Mascherano saved Arsenal's possible second goal and from then on things changed. It was time for the attacking trio to make their appearance which came from Luis Suarez's right foot and a fantastic acrobatic volley after a Dani Alves cross from the right. This sentenced the whole thing, but Messi's goal was still to come.
That came just two minutes before the end of the match, he took a loose ball and dinked it over Ospina with a soft touch over his head. With this goal, Leo secured the next round ticket against a weak Arsenal side that practically gave no opposition during the whole 180 minutes of both matches. But then again, this Barcelona can practically defeat any team that you put in front of them, they are simply unstoppable right about now. They have the best attacking trio in football history, that's too much.
