Rasmus Hojlund has proven to be the most successful of the new hires thus far; in contrast, Erik ten Hag made terrible signings in the form of Mason Mount and Andre Onana, even if the custodian has a lot of promise to become a long-term success at Old Trafford. Regarding departures, Donny van de Beek, who has no future at the club, is still there, and Anthony Martial was another star the Red Devils sought to offload.

Despite being eager to let Martial depart last summer, United only received a genuine offer from the Saudi Pro League, and he turned down the opportunity to begin negotiations, claims ESPN's Rob Dawson. The French star's contract at Man United expires at the end of the current campaign, but the club is not in a hurry to renew it.
