Torino 2-1 against Udinese

Torino got their hands on the three points with Bremer’s second-half goal as they climbed 11th on the table with the 2-1 win over Udinese on Monday. Both the teams headed into the match with 14 points each and hoped to pull ahead after the match. The home side started well when Josip Brekalo gave Torino, an early lead when his long-range effort beat Marco Silvestri in the Udinese goal. The attacking midfielder smashed into the corner from 25 yards away at the 8th minute to start off well.

Torino's goalkeeper Vanja Milinkovic-Savic worked hard to deny Udinese a leveler. Also, Andrea Belotti wasted an opportunity before Gleison Bremer doubled the lead after 48 minutes for his sixth goal of the season. Torino stayed in control thereafter when Udinese took advantage later to score from a direct free-kick after 77 minutes with Fernando Forestieri’s curler. Torino then hangs on to their lead to climb closer to the top half of the table.
