Torino dominates 3-1 over AC Milan

In their last home game of the season, Torino defeated an AC Milan team that at times looked bored, 3-1, thanks to a smash-and-grab raid that gave them optimism for next season in Europe.

Even though AC Milan has already secured second place in Serie A, their confidence will likely be damaged by their 3-1 loss to Torino. The hosts led comfortably at the interval with goals in the first half from Duvan Zapata and Ivan Ilic, and they were virtually out of sight after a stunning strike from Ricardo Rodriguez. Even after Ismael Bennacer's penalty ten minutes into the second half, Milan was unable to mount a comeback. Torino surpasses Napoli thanks to goals from Duvan Zapata, Ivan Ilic, and Ricardo Rodriguez. If they can maintain their ninth-place finish and both Atalanta and Fiorentina win their next European finals, which is a difficult but not impossible feat, they will qualify for continental play the following season.
