Torino's 2-1 win over Atalanta

Four minutes after halftime, Scotland striker Adams scored the second goal for Torino, his first since joining as a free agent last month. After Scotland and Manchester United star Law scored for Torino in the 1961–62 season, the 28-year-old became the first of his countrymen to do so.

A flawless home debut was completed when Adams scored the winner after Duvan Zapata's low effort was stopped. In the 31st minute, he also set up Ivan Ilic's sweetly dinked equalizer. With his goal and Vanja Milinkovic-Savic's late stoppage-time penalty save, Torino had four points from their opening two games. Following 19 mostly dull years as the club's owner, Urbano Cairo, hundreds of supporters marched to the game in unison to demand that Cairo sell the team, and the team prevailed.
