Timo Werner will return to Tottenham Hotspur on loan for the 2024-25 season. The English club have made official an agreement with Red Bull Leipzig to bring back an attacker who arrived in January this year to play half a season under Ange Postecoglou. The Australian coach made him one of his key players - 11 starts in 14 appearances - and now guarantees he will continue to be available.
This time, negotiations have resulted in an option to buy, the amount of which has not been disclosed. Considering that he is contracted until 2026 by his Bundesliga club and that his market value is just over 33 million euros, it is quite likely that the figure is high, although it should be borne in mind that the German side sold him to Chelsea for 53 million in 2020 and bought him back for 20 in 2022.
