Nuno’s Tottenham Hotspur desperately wanted Emerson Royal in their squad before the summer transfer window is closed and to make that dream come true Spurs bid £21 million on the player. They have outbid Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal as well who wanted the 22-year-old Brazil international right-back but as per the reports, Gunners have lost that fight.

Gunners have failed to even secure a win from the first three matches in Premier League games while Tottenham on the other hand is at the top of the table with maximum points. The player is set to join Hotspur stadium soon as Barcelona is also hoping to offload the player as soon as they can and reduce their financial burden. Tottenham enjoys an upper hand over the North London rivals now.
