Tottenham Hotspur could make a summer move for a young star

In the ongoing summer transfer season, Tottenham Hotspur of the Premier League may submit an offer for Torino star Perr Schuurs. The Dutchman transferred from Ajax Amsterdam to the Italian team last summer when Gleison Bremer, their standout defender, left for Juventus. Schuurs flourished at Torino and is currently one of the hottest prospects in the Italian top division.

The centre-back, who is only 23 years old, is a long-term investment who can future-proof a key spot on the Tottenham squad. Schuurs is a contemporary defender who has adapted to the game like a fish to water. He is a tough tackler with technical skill on the ball. It is well known that Tottenham is looking for a center-back. Both VfL Wolfsburg's Micky Van de Ven and Bayer Leverkusen star Edmond Tapsoba have been linked to Ange Postecoglou's team. But neither athlete has yet signed with the North London team.
