Tottenham Hotspur suffers a disappointing loss to Burnley

Tottenham Hotspur was humbled by lowly-ranked Burnley in the Premier League fixture on Wednesday. Burnley might be battling in the bottom three ranks in the Premier League standing but they were the better team than Antonio Conte’s men at Turf Moor. The Lilywhites even called Lucas Moura in the final 25 minutes of the game as Spurs were desperately searching for an equalizer.

The North London club still stayed frustrated throughout the match as they hoped to walk away with a point at least after Ben Mee scored for Burnley at the 71st minute hurting Hotspur’s chances of finishing in the top four. Conte’s side had surprised everyone last weekend with a victory at the Etihad Stadium but failed to follow that up with a win.
