Tottenham seal permanent deal for Mathys Tel as Bayern green-light summer exit

The deal, reportedly worth around £30 million, sees Tel commit to Spurs until 2031. This move marks a decisive moment for Tottenham as they secure a promising forward to strengthen their attacking options ahead of the new season.

The French youngster first joined Tottenham on loan from Bayern Munich earlier this year. During his initial months, Tel demonstrated his pace, technical ability, and versatility across the forward line. His performances helped the club clinch the Europa League title, with Tel contributing crucial goals and dynamic play throughout the campaign. The loan period allowed the club to assess his fit within manager Ange Postecoglou’s tactical system before committing to a long-term deal.

During the loan spell, Tel accumulated valuable Premier League experience, scoring multiple goals and adapting to the physical and tactical demands of English football.
