Dan-Axel Zagadou would be leaving Borussia Dortmund on a free transfer soon and TSG Hoffenheim wants to take advantage of the opportunity and sign the player this summer.
In a bid to bolster their defence, Hoffenheim considers local target Zagadou as well as stay interested in Manchester City’s Ko Itakura and VfL Wolfsburg’s John Brooks. Zagadou and Dortmund have already had meetings regarding the extension of his contract and have decided mutually to part ways instead. Zagadou has huge potential but due to injuries, his stint with Dortmund was marred. he made just 91 appearances for the Black and Yellows ever since he joined the side from Paris St. Germain in 2017. BVB already has Niklas Süle and Nico Schlotterbeck in the squad and has no need for Frenchman.
