Two veterans stay undecided about their future in Barcelona

Marcos Alonso and Sergi Roberto the two Barcelona players with a wealth of experience and accomplishments aren't exactly key players for Barcelona right now. The case of Marcos Alonso appears to be straightforward. The Spaniard, a former Chelsea player, does not expect to stay beyond this season. Atletico Madrid and other Premier League clubs are interested in signing him in 2024.

Sergi Roberto, on the other hand, is prepared to stay another year. Despite not being a significant player, his function varies from Alonso's. As a senior player for Barcelona, Roberto is a leader in the dressing room and the team's first captain. Furthermore, he is more trusted on the field than Alonso. His brace in the most recent encounter against Almeria earned Barcelona the win. Furthermore, he is said to be prepared to cut his pay expectations in order to stay at the Catalan club.
