VAR made its Champions League debut this week and UEFA are happy with its implementation so far.
"I'm very happy with the way VAR was implemented," said UEFA's head of referees, Roberto Rosetti
Real Madrid's win at Ajax home saw the technology take centre stage as Nicolàs Tagliafico had a goal ruled out.
"The referee identified that the Ajax player was in an offside position interfering with the goalkeeper", he said.
Roma - Porto: In the 19th minute at the Stadio Olimpico, there was a possible handball near the Porto penalty area, but the referee did not indicate. "A subsequent VAR review showed that the incident was outside the area, and therefore it didn't intervene and the game continued correctly," he added.
Manchester United - PSG: during the game at Old Trafford, there were no significant interventions but there was a play in which the assistant delayed raising his flag.
