Aljoscha Kemlein has put pen to paper on a new contract with 1. FC Union Berlin. The Bundesliga side announced a new long-term deal for the 20-year-old on Wednesday, with the exact duration of the contract remaining undisclosed.
“Union are my club, I grew up and took my first steps in professional football here,” said Kemlein, who has been with the club since 2016.
The German U21 international established himself as a starter in central midfield during the 2024/25 season before a foot injury prematurely ended his campaign.
“I’m highly motivated for the coming season, want to continue developing, and make my contribution on the pitch,” he stressed.
“Helping this club achieve its goals, growing together with the team, and continuing this path with Union means an incredible amount to me. I can’t wait to get back into action.”
