Manchester United failed to get their transfer window target now have to focus on solving the problem that is in front of them. Teden Mengi has cast himself in a role he might outgrow quickly, Mengi is currently training under captain Maguire, learning the ways at Man City. He is competing with Lindelof and Eric Bailly as well. The absence of Marcos Rojo, Phil Jones, as well as Chris Smalling’s departure makes Mengi the fifth choice for center-back and Axel Tuanzebe the fourth. Man Utd did not sign any other center-back in the summer as they could not sell Jones and Rojo. Mengi would soon be close to being a part of the starting XI.
