Uruguay runs over Paraguay

Luis Suarez has finally returned to being that leader Uruguay craved, he appeared at the most dire moment when they faced Paraguay in their second match of the week for the South American World Cup qualifiers. He started strong with an assist to Edinson Cavani on the 18th minute, a cross from the right that the PSG star managed to connect with at the exact moment. The Paraguay side tried to get the equalizer, but three minutes from the end another goal came for Uruguay.

Cristian 'Cebolla' Rodriguez appeared at the right moment during a corner kick, he connected with his head and gave Uruguay the 2-0 lead under the rain. Right before half time, Suarez made a fantastic solo play inside the box and was knocked down with a foul. He scored from the spot to give Uruguay the 3-0 lead with him as the main protagonist, he was feeling very generous this evening.

The full extent of his generosity came ten minutes into the second half, he sent in another cross but this time from the left to Cavani. The PSG striker responded with a great header for Uruguay's fourth goal and his personal second thanks to Suarez. The Barcelona man was the hero with one goal and two assists, and just like that, Uruguay is back in the game for the South America World Cup qualifiers.
