Verona 1-0 Fiorentina

There was a scare when Moise Kean was carted off, but Fiorentina lost for the third time in a row in Serie A as Hellas Verona applied pressure in stoppages. With Kean returned from suspension and Robin Gosens suspended, the Viola were coming off consecutive losses to Inter and Como. Yacine Adli, Andrea Colpani, and Albert Gudmundsson were remained sidelined. Casper Tengstedt, Suat Serdar, Martin Frese, and Abdou Harroui were all injured, while Domagoj Bradaric was suspended by Hellas.

In the fourth minute, Nicolò Zaniolo was unable to muster much force on a very identical play, while Michael Folorunsho set up a cross for Kean, requiring a difficult stop from point-blank range. Kean scuffed the finish on a Zaniolo pull-back from the right, then Amin Sarr stung David De Gea's palms with a quick dipping shot from a distance.
