Bo Svensson’s unbeaten streak as FC Copenhagen manager collapsed spectacularly as Viborg stormed to a 4–0 home victory, their biggest Superliga win in 23 years. The visitors were dismantled within fifteen chaotic minutes, conceding three goals through a mix of panic, poor positioning and individual errors. New signing Asger Sørensen endured a nightmare debut, witnessing Birger Meling’s comical own goal after fifty seconds before gifting possession that led to Dorian Hanza’s clinical counter‑attack. Gabriel Pereira then hesitated fatally, allowing Asker Beck to make it 3–0.

Copenhagen improved slightly after halftime, enjoying more possession, yet their attack remained lifeless and predictable. Viborg, composed and confident throughout, waited for the right moment to strike again, sealing the rout when Charly Nouck curled home a superb counter‑attacking finish. The defeat marked Copenhagen’s first league loss of the season, while Viborg celebrated a dominant performance that showcased sharp pressing, ruthless transitions and total control.
