Villarreal beats Eibar in a 2-1 victory

Emery finally managed to take his first home victory for La Liga when Villarreal squashed a spirited Eibar in a 2-1 victory.

Undoubtedly, Villarreal’s were the stronger side in the first 20 minutes of the match. It was crystal clear that Eibar needed to buckle up its gear. However, Villarreal was seized offside thrice in the first 4 minutes of the game. The deciding factor was none other than Moi Gomez's beautiful pass through to Gerard to score only to be eliminated by VAR. The Yellows continued to batter Eibar's goals.

Nonetheless, Villarreal were the stronger side throughout the match. They totally deserved to take the 3 points. Now, it will be interesting to see how they will play against Barcelona.
