Villarreal are reportedly set to initiate talks with Paris Saint-Germain over the potential signing of Spanish midfielder Carlos Soler. According to Mundo Deportivo, citing Estadio Deportivo, the La Liga side is keen to bring in reinforcements ahead of the 2025/26 season, particularly after the lucrative departures of Álex Baena and Thierno Barry. Soler, who spent the previous campaign on loan at West Ham United, has returned to PSG, but his stay in Paris may be short-lived.
Villarreal’s interest in the 28-year-old is said to be serious, with his name marked as a priority in the club’s transfer plans.
