Villarreal take out Valencia with 2-0 local derby win

Villarreal is back in the race for a European spot in La Liga as they secure a 2-0 win over Valencia. The Yellow Submarine kept their winning streak alive with the three points against Los Che. Arnaut Danjuma first got the game rolling after he converted the spot-kick, and then the Dutch star scored once more in the first 20 minutes. Danjuma could have even got his hands on a hat trick as well but failed to do that.

In the second half, Marcos Andre then went wide and Valencia missed the opportunity to cut the lead. Emery’s side would not be back in action this week as they take part in Copa del Rey final and then travel to Anfield Meanwhile Valencia would take on Real Betis in the final, at the Estadio de La Cartuja.
