Wenger dislikes Gunners' aerial weakness

The Hammers got a very important draw against one of the title contenders at Upton Park this Saturday, with an Andy Carroll hat-trick they managed to completely take Arsenal off the title race and managed to hold their ground. The Gunners got ahead with goals from Ozil and Alexis, but an impressive Andrew Carroll hat-trick got the visitors in trouble in this London Derby. At the end, French centre back Laurent Koscielny scored the equalizer to define the result.

French manager Arsene Wenger praised Carroll for his performance after the game: "Carroll is good in the air. I believe we lost a bit of urgency. We had a good game today and we had a bad result and we paid for a weakness we've had throughout the season. If you look at the goals we've conceded since the start of the season, it's headers in our box and that happened today."

"He's lucky to finish the game anyway. But that doesn't mean we have to concede goals on the headers if he stays on the pitch, we have to look at ourselves and we cannot influence the decisions of the referee. David Ospina has had outstanding performances and with him and Petr Cech we have exactly the same problem in the air. Since the beginning of the season we've had exactly the same problem, no matter who plays."
