West Ham clinched a fourth place finish with Wolves win

Jesse Lingard helps West Ham realize their Champions League dream but putting them in contention for the fourth spot with a win against Wolves. West Ham leapfrogged Chelsea who sat in fourth place with a 3-2 win against Wolves on Monday in the Premier League. Lingard has been great this summer and slotted home his sixth goal in just the 6th minute for West Ham from 8 outings.

He joined the Hammers on loan from United, he even played a role in the other two goals as well to help the team to a 3-0 lead in the first half itself. He passed the ball to Arthur Masuaku who crossed it to Pablo Fornals who doubled the Hammers' lead. Lingard then fired past Wolves’ weak defense to set up Jarrod Bowen who netted the third goal. The battle is neck to neck at the top and Hammers enjoy a one-point lead over Chelsea.
