West Ham desperate to sign James Tarkowski

In order to get Burnley defender James Tarkowski, West Ham will make a final proposal of roughly £7 million. After Angelo Ogbonna's season-ending injury, Hammers manager David Moyes is looking for defensive reinforcements, and while the 29-year-old is his top target, he has also identified Liverpool's Nat Phillips and Ben Davies as backup options. Burnley want a lot of money for Tarkowski, despite the fact that he is out of contract at the end of the season, but West Ham will try one final time before he becomes a free agent.

The London Stadium requires another center-back because Kurt Zouma cannot rely on Craig Dawson and Issa Diop to form a reliable defensive pairing for the remainder of the season. Tarkowski has proven himself in the Premier League for the past five seasons, and his vast experience and quality would be ideal for the Irons.
