West Ham striker Niclas Fullkrug is in doubt for the Spurs clash

Following the announcement that Niclas Füllkrug, a German striker for West Ham, had pulled out of his country's international yesterday and was returning to the club for treatment of a calf injury, the club and supporters were understandably alarmed as the specter of Füllkrug's previous "calf injury" reared its ugly head once more. The striker ended up missing three months of action at the same time last season.
Fullkrug is expected to miss the Spurs game the following weekend, but he should be healthy enough to play in the games against Crystal Palace on September 20 and Everton on September 29. Hopefully, the muscle strain does not seem to be a return of the significant problem that afflicted him throughout the first part of the previous season. The Hammers’ squad shared that, fortunately, from what they understand, Fullkrug's injury doesn't look like much.
