Ollie Watkins scored an equalizer in the 34th minute. Just four minutes later in the 38th minute, Rice scored for Hammers with a long-range stunner and restored the lead. Aston Villa had to play with 10 men after VAR review ruled that konsa had denied Bowen a clear goal-scoring opportunity by tripping him in the 50th minute.

Pablo Fornals scored in the 80th minute and made it 3-1 and within four minutes Jarrod Bowen scored for Hammers and made it 4-1. This result sealed three points for David Moyes’ side.
