West Ham United vs Crystal Palace picked a draw

The Hammers continue to maintain their unbeaten start with a draw against Crystal Palace 2-2. Hammers took the lead just before halftime through Pablo Fornals, and while Conor Gallagher equalized for the visitors on 58 minutes, Michail Antonio's fourth goal of the season ten minutes later had home fans dreaming of a third straight victory. The closest they came in the first half was a Crystal Palace header - Joachim Andersen needed the sliding Joel Ward to save his blushes on the line after challenging Michail Antonio for a cross and diverting the ball towards his own goal - but West Ham remained on top.

The hosts led the shot count by eight to one at the half, and while seven of those eight attempts were stopped by a tenacious Eagles defense, the one that got through was crucial. West Ham brought on Manuel Lanzini and Andriy Yarmolenko from the bench in search of a third goal but settled for a point.
