Where will Jamal Musiala play?

Sport Bild reports that after training individually during the winter break, Musiala will be integrated back into team training, until he can do so under a full load. Then, the 22-year-old could earn his first minutes of the season in the second half of the month, providing there are no setbacks.

With games against Union Saint-Gilloise (January 21), Augsburg (January 24), PSV (January 28) and Hamburg (January 31), there should be plenty of opportunities for Musiala to return to the pitch.

While it could be over two months before Musiala returns to form, there’s now a question of where the youngster fits into Vincent Kompany’s team.

Serge Gnabry, who has six months remaining on his current deal, has returned to form. Michael Olise is also in the form of his life while Lennart Karl is enjoying a breakout campaign.
