Lamine Yamal and Fermin Lopez have made their senior squad debuts this season, joining Gavi and Alejandro Balde who are already stalwarts in the lineup. Unai Hernandez, another bright young prospect, has been seen pretty frequently in and around the first-team setup and is also banging on the manager's doors.
Next season, more players with La Masia connections are anticipated, and teenage left-back Alex Valle, who is presently on loan at UD Levante, may be one of them. The young left-back continued to practise with the senior team after his return from the tour before going on loan to Levante. Currently, SPORT is saying that Valle is doing well for Levante and may find himself in Xavi's plans for the upcoming season. If he continues performing at that level for the remainder of the campaign, a place in Xavi’s plans at Barcelona could be waiting for the youngster.
