A report in Albania said the Dons defensive midfielder was "on the verge" of making the move to Italy. The 27-year-old international from Albania made 44 appearances in a strong first year with the Dons after joining from MTK Budapest. Ramadani is "on the verge" of concluding a trade to the Serie A team, claims a newspaper in Albania. However, according to The Press & Journal, Aberdeen has not been approached over a prospective transfer for the defensive midfielder.
The Dons have already brought in Leighton Clarkson, Ester Sokler, Graeme Shinnie, Nicky Devlin, and Rhys Williams during a hectic summer transfer season. Ross McCrorie left for Bristol City in a £2 million transaction, albeit there may be add-on costs. Last year, Lecce placed 16th in Serie A. Ramadani has a contract with Aberdeen that runs until the 2025 summer.
