When you talk about a former player such as Javier Zanetti, you talk about a man who was completely dedicated to the club of his life and can be considered one of the main symbols Inter has had in all its history. A man who played with the club until he was 40, who gave it all for the institution as a player and now is doing the same thing as a vice-president. The new investors from China have given him the chance to help out and that's exactly what he is doing in this new role.
Talking about the investors, Zanetti told the Radio Rai that: "Suning are an important group and have a strong desire to invest. For Inter, there will be a bright future. We are all working to bring Inter back to the top where, the club deserves to be. In Italy, I think other foreign investors will come, with the way the league is now.
"[Suning] are going to make changes to the stadium and build new facilities for the youth sector. Our kids are important and we want them to dream of a debut in the first team. I do not consider [Juve] a point of reference, we are one of various clubs that act in a different way. We think in a different way to them. We try to achieve success through experience and capacity."
