Zealous Hertha squash Werder 4-1 in Bundesliga opener

Hertha crushed Werder in the Bundesliga opener 4-1. It was their first win in the last 14 years. Hertha BSC informed about investing 127 million euros in June to compete for silverware. But, as luck would have it, they hardly got any chance after being struck twice in three minutes late in the first half itself. However, Peter Pekarik remained immaculate at the far post.  He was tapped in for the lead in the 42nd minute. Dodi Lukebakio also stupefied the Wenders, the hosts, and made 8,500 home fans allowed to attend the match.  He fired in a second by halftime. Hertha took the advantage when Werder was forced to go forward.  Matheus Cunha keeper Jiri Pavlenka scored a low shot. And, Jhon Cordoba added a feather to his hat with his first goal in the 90th minute.
