Zenit contacted Benfica this week to discuss a possible transfer of David Neres and, according to press, he was willing to initially offer 25 million euros to go ahead with the deal.
The Russians did not even make an official offer, but they passed the amount they were willing to pay for the Brazilian player. The incarnates, however, showed no interest in the numbers presented.
Close to losing Malcom, who interests Juventus and especially Al Hilal, the Russian club is already in the ball market looking for reinforcements for the attack. David Neres is one of the most liked players.
Hired by Benfica last season, in exchange for approximately 15 million euros, David Neres has a contract valid until June 2027 and a release clause of 100 million euros.
