Philadelphia 76ers would be without Joel Embiid, and Ben Simmons during Thursday's match against the Chicago Bulls after both the All-star players were ruled out due to COVID-19 contact tracing while Simmons would go on to miss the next match with Washington Wizards as well as both the participants have been placed under quarantine for other player’s safety.
Both the players need to test negative in a few days in order to return to play and hopefully, both of the players would be fit to play against San Antonio Spurs at home on Sunday. 76ers have ended the first half of the season with one of their best records in the Eastern Conference. Embiid is posting his career-best numbers this season and has averaged 30 points and 11 rebounds per game and is a contender for NBA's MVP award, while Simmons is averaging 16.1 points, 7.9 rebounds and 7.6 assists per game.
