Boston Celtics extend their winning streak to seven matches with a 108-102 triumph over the Denver Nuggets on Friday. Jayson Tatum had 24 points and Marcus Smart chipped in with 22 points as well. Boston was trailing behind Nuggets 88-86 with 8min 26sec second left in the match and fired a 22-14 run while denying Nuggets to claim a win.
Robert Williams III scored 15 points and 16 rebounds and from the bench Bostons also saw guard Derrick White contribute 15 points and six rebounds in his first match for the team. Denver’s star Nikola Jokic ended the match with 23 points, 16 rebounds and 11 assists as he posts another triple-double for the losing side. This would be Nuggets' fourth loss of six matches.
