Gordon Hayward, during the Charlotte Hornets’ victory over Indiana Pacers, had a sprain in his right foot which will lead to him missing for at least a month. The team mentioned that there will be a re-evaluation for Hayward in around 4 weeks. He got the sprain when he stepped on the foot of Myles Turner while going to the basket in the 2nd quarter, and there was a sudden crumple.
Hayward averages 19.6 points, 5.9 rebounds, and 4.1 assists per match. This is about his 1st season with the Hornets when he had a 4-year deal for $128 million. This injury of Hayward is on the opposite of his 1st match’s injury in the broken left ankle in 2017. Hayward was an All-Star with the Utah Jazz in 2016-17.
