A three team deal in the making, involving McCollum, Porzingis and Turner

NBA Teams are determined to land the player they sought after even after a simple trade deal fails, multi team trade is now more common than ever. Last year Nets engaged in a multi-team deal to land James Harden. This year Portland Trail Blazers, Indiana Pacers, and Dallas Mavericks, have all been involved in a three-team deal that would feature big players like Kristaps Porzingis and CJ McCollum.

As per the particulars, Portland would finally land Porzingis, Pacers would have McCollum and Mavs would add Myles Turner, Jeremy Lamb, and 2022 first-round pick. Portland has not made any big high profile move all summer and landing the 7'3" big man might be it for them. Indiana needs to add more impactful players in the form of McCollum while Mavs would save some good bucks with a cheaper shot-blocker in the form of Turner.
