Ahead of NBA 2021 season teams get a 134-pages COVID 19 manual

Weeks after the Dec. 22 start of the next campaign has been agreed to, for the 72-game regular season. There existed doubts over the travel arrangements and protocols to be adhered to with no Orlando bubble this season. The current situation has forced teams and players to take extra precautions in the training sessions as well, recently Clippers and the Lakers allowed for individual workouts but limit the same with four players and four coaches.

The 134-pages COVID 19 manual details health and safety protocols to be maintained by leagues and players. Though the players union needs to approve the guidelines. One of the guidelines that would matter most to the players is that they would need to rest for 12 days minimum counting from the first positive polymerase chain reaction test to the time symptoms end, the isolation of 10 days and two negative tests with a 24hrs gap as well as spend 2 days in training alone.
