Australian Grand Prix announces circuit changes

Albert Park gets a new look this season, Australian Grand Prix makes certain changes for the 2021 season that would boost the overtaking ability and at the same time reduce the lap time by five seconds. F1 would be visiting the Australian GP in November this year after the race was postponed due to the pandemic and ritually F1 kicks off the season in Australia every year but this year it wasn't possible hence the GP is now the third last race in the calendar.

The time between the races was utilized well by making it more competitive by widening certain areas, changing the camber of numerous corners, and certain areas were completely modified. At turns six and seven, the chicane will be removed, while on turns nine and 10 where there lied a heavy-braking zone for the first part of the chicane it will now be smooth, flowing right-left.
