Ayton, Booker leads Suns past Mavericks

Phoenix Suns bulldozed Dallas Mavericks with a 121-114 win on Monday to enjoy a one-game lead after Game 1 in the Western Conference semifinals. Deandre Ayton had 25 points, Devin Booker scored 23 and powered Suns through during the matchup. Suns did not trail even once after they leaped towards a 9-0 run within the opening minutes.

This is the 10th straight loss for Dallas at the hands of Suns including the regular season matches as well. Mavericks were led by Luka Doncic who fired 45 points, 12 rebounds and eight assists for the side but not enough to beat Suns. This is the first time Doncic would play for Dallas in the postseason’s second round after being part of the team for four years. Both the sides would meet for Game 2 on Wednesday in Phoenix.
