Billy Donovan was not even considering Chicago Bulls after parting ways with the Oklahoma City Thunder with five successful seasons under his belt. Billy Donovan has just accepted the role of head coach at Bulls as the team struggles to cope up with the new management and Donovan just arrived at the right place at the right time. Working with stars like Kevin Durant, Russell Westbrook, Paul George, and Chris Paul, Donovan has led the Thunder to playoffs each season. Now he is being offered a four-year contract with more than $24m when earlier he was apprehensive about coaching a rebuilding team as he has already done that with NCAA powerhouse at the University of Florida before he moved on to the NBA.
