Blazers hit the jackpot late in the offseason by signing two-time NBA Champion Quinn Cook. Both the parties have agreed to a one-year non-guaranteed deal. The point guard has charted an impressive journey in NBA ever since he went undrafted in 2015. The 28-year-old, six-foot-one big man played a pivotal part in Warriors' journey to the title in 2018 and stayed on the roster next year as well. Then he became part of the Lakers title-winning squad in 2020. Now, Cook would bring in his championship experience as well as leadership to Blazers this season, other than that the 180-pound big man would provide a decent backup option to the team.
Portland Trail Blazers interestingly have three more players on non-guaranteed deals with Marquese Chriss, Dennis Smith Jr, and Patrick Patterson. The preseason would be quite competitive as just two roster spots are vacant.
