Blazers could not beat a depleted Nets and fell to 112-116 loss

James Harden had 25 points with 17 assists for the night to led Nets to a 116-112 win over Blazers. Nets were without Kevin Durant or Kyrie Irving but had Harden on their side to carry the team and Nets stretched their winning streak on road against West to 9 and are 30-14 in the season with 16 wins from last 18 matches. Nets still stay behind Sixers on the Eastern Conference table and sit second. Portland was held back well and Nets had limited Blazers to shoot 34.5 percent (19-of-55) from deep.

Harden delivered a double-double with neck soreness. They would soon take on Utah Jazz and the win definitely boosts their chances as Nets ultimately finished with shooting 49.4 percent from the field and 30.0 percent from deep.
