Portland Trail Blazers fell behind in the last quarter against New Orleans Pelicans to close out a few points short with 97-111 on Tuesday. Blazers kept things close for the most part of the night with Damian Lillard’s help who scored 39 points and added 7 assists as well but Blazers still faded away in the last quarter when the Pelicans tightened their defense for a 19-6 run. They increased their lead from 81-78 in the fourth and Blazers’s 8-0 run was not enough to see off Pelicans.
Brandon Ingram scored 28 points, eight rebounds, and eight assists while Alexander-Walker went on to score 27 and made 6 of 9 three-pointers. Jusuf Nurkic ended the day with 17 points and Norman Powell added 16 more with Larry Nance Jr. posting 10 points, six rebounds, and four steals.
