Performing on the road, in the absence of three prime rotation players, on the second night of a consecutive game—everything pointed at the Toronto Raptors' win over the Boston Celtics. However, the Celtics got up with their league-leading 20th victory of the season in an especially audacious manner, dusting off a primarily difficult attempt from the Raptors to bag a 116-110 win.
Jayson Tatum commanded the game with a 31-point, 12-rebound night, while Jaylen Brown (22 points) pinned up several huge plays n the stretch to assist the Celtics in flying ahead of the Raptors during the second half. From the Raptors side, Pascal Siakam scored 29 points (9-of-13 from the free throw line) while Scottie Barnes and Gary Trent Jr. contributed with 21 and 20 points, respectively. No game against the Raptors ever came easy, and this was no exception.
