Jayson Tatum was the Celtics' leading scorer during the 2021-22 regular season. He even struggled at times against the Warriors in the six-game series. Two months after the Warriors won the NBA championship at TD Garden, Tatum has finally spoken about his situation at that time. He revealed that he powered through an injury for the entirety of the playoffs.
"It showed that I had a non-displaced fracture in my left wrist," Tatum said during a live interview Sunday. He also spoke about his condition and how played with a fracture for two months straight. He also admitted that he worsened his injury during the playoffs, due to continual playing and receiving temporary fixes to push through the pain. He has not confirmed whether he got any sort of medical procedure done on his wrist during the offseason.
