Boston Celtics won their fourth straight game

Malcolm Brogdon contributed 20 points, Al Horford had 14 points, and Jayson Tatum added 31 points and 10 rebounds. Horford also made four 3-pointers. Five straight home victories for the Celtics. For New Orleans, CJ McCollum scored 38 points, his sixth straight game scoring at least 25 points. With a 6 of 12 3-point shooting performance, he kept the Pelicans in the game the entire time. For the sixth game in a row, they were missing Zion Williamson because of his ongoing right hamstring injury.

For New Orleans, Trey Murphy III scored 15 points, Naji Marshall added 18 points, and the Pelicans have now dropped three straight. With little under 10 minutes remaining, the Celtics' lead had grown to 104-89. They had led by six points at the half. With 7:32 remaining, New Orleans had a 107-97 lead. Boston, though, answered with an 11-3 run to bring the score back to 118-100.
